Bengaluru: Bengaluru North MP, Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation, D V Sadananda Gowda has been given the additional charge of Ministry of Chemicals and fertilizers. These portfolios were headed by Ananth Kumar, who died on wee hours of Monday in the city.
According to a press release, issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Narendra Singh Tomar has been allotted Parliamentary Affairs, another ministry headed by Ananth Kumar.
Sadananda Gowda, former Chief Minister of Karnataka joined the Narendra Modi government in the year 2014 as a railway minister, but later he was shifted to statistics and programme implementation ministry.
