Bengaluru: Bengaluru reported 88 of the 90 new Covid – 19 cases recorded in Karnataka on Monday May 9. The total number of active cases in the city is now 1,805.
The city now has eight containment zones, down from nine on May 6, according to a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) statement on May 9.
With five cases, Mahadevapura is the highest, followed by Yelahanka (3).
A containment zone currently consists of three or more cases. Presently, there are less than five cases in each containment zone.
According to the bulletin, all eight containment zones were located in apartment complexes.
