Bengaluru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah will launch the AHINDA movement in the state from March 27.
On March 27 he will participate in a rally organised by the Koli and Gonda communities seeking ST reservation in Kalaburugi.
The rally will be held at NV grounds in the city.
The Koli and Gonda communities are very influential in the Hyderabad Karnataka region.
Ahead of the 2023 state assembly election, the Congress is trying to consolidate its support base among the backward classes including Muslims who make a huge chunk of the state electorate.
