Bengaluru: MLC S. V. Sankanur has urged to fill staff vacancies in the State educational institutions.
On Thursday March 18, he raised the issue at the Assembly, and said that there are over 4,000 vacancies in various schools and colleges while 50 percent of vacancies have remained unfilled in the State universities. He then urged the Government to take an immediate action to fill up those vacancies.
Further, he demanded the State Government to provide building for Karnatak University’s PG Centre in Gadag, a project that has been pending for years.
