Bengaluru: It seems like all is not well in the state coalition government headed by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao had reportedly written a letter to the CM asking him not to take any important decisions without consulting the Congress leaders first and urged the CM to follow the coalition dharma.
In his letter, Dinesh Gundu Rao stated that the state government is not following the decisions taken by both the party leaders in relation to the appointment of members for various committees formed at the Assembly constituency level.
“Even though a clear formula has been approved in the coalition committee meeting on these appointments, the government is appointing only JD(S) members to these committees. It has angered the Congress activists. So, the government must follow the coalition dharma to ensure its stability,” he stated.
The letter is expected to lead to another round of war of words between the JD(S) and the Congress leaders, especially in the South Karnataka region where both the parties are yet to bury their hatchets.
