Bengaluru: Former Minister MB Patil will be sworn in as the new campaign committee Chairman of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Monday March 28 at 3.00 pm.
The event will be held at Palace Grounds here. Patil is using the platform to show his strength.
He was the Major Irrigation Minister in the Siddaramaiah led Congress Government between 2013 and 2018. He is considered as close associate of Siddaramaiah.
KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar, Party State In-Charge Randeep Singh Surjewala, Former CM Siddaramaiah and others will take part in the event.
