Bengaluru: Former Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao had recently joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) . Now he has expressed apprehension that cases may be registered against him or raids may be conducted against him.
Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday April 6 Rao said that he was ready to face them. Even AAP Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal too faced such situations. Whoever walks on the path to bring about reforms in society will face many such challenges, and I want to stress that I will work to eradicate corruption in the State, he asserted.
Speaking about corruption in the Police Department, he alleged that the officers in the State are forced to pay crores together to get a posting.
