Four held for flesh trade, three girls from Thailand rescued

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police arrested four persons on charges of flesh trade in Bengaluru. The CCB police raided LJA Spa & Saloon on 3rd Cross, 10th Main, Indiranagar 2nd phase in Indiranagar police station limits after getting a tip-off about prostitution racket.

The police have identified the arrested persons as Raymond John Jaffery (30) working as manager of the massage parlour LJA Spa & Saloon, Sushil Rai (27) from Darjeeling working at LJA Spa & Saloon, Somanath (19) from West Bengal working at LJA Spa & Saloon, Paul Basher (35), a client from Ulsoor, Bengaluru. The police have recovered six mobile phones and Rs 32,250 cash and eight condoms of Moods brand, three passports and one Xerox copy of an Aadhar card from the arrested persons and rescued four girls (three from Thailand one from Nagaland) during the raid.

The police found that three girls from Thailand were holding business visas. The accused used to bring girls from other countries and compelling them to indulge in prostitution.

A case has been registered at Indiranagar police station.
