Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Rural Police have busted a nine-member gang for allegedly helping illegal Bangladeshi migrants to get Aadhaar Card and other citizenship-related documents.
Further, the gang including a software engineer and a pharmacist had converted Rs. 4 Crore into Bangladeshi currency. The gang transferred the currency to the neighbouring country in just one year.
The interrogation of Kitab Ali, who was arrested in connection with looting of ATM at Chikkagollarahatti Village under Madanayakanahalli Police Station limits. He revealed about one Syed Akoon alias Shahid Ahmed who had come to India illegally from the Tripura border and thus the gang got busted.
