Bengaluru: Gangster Suresh Poojari has been deported from the Philippines. The Karnataka police are looking for his custody in connection with several extortion cases.
Poojari who originally hails from Dakshinna Kannada District is a notorious gangster. He was part of Ravi Poojari’s gang. He separated from Ravi Poojari in 2007.
According to the sources, several FIRs have been registered in Karnataka against Poojari. He was in Philippines for the last 15 years.
“He is likely to be brought to Bengaluru after Maharashtra police complete investigation in connection with a case registered in their state,” sources added.
