Bengaluru: In a major breakthrough in the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh, Bengaluru cops have released a photo of one of the suspects on a bike.
The Special Investigation Team, with the help of a lab in the US, got a grab of the suspect enhanced to the maximum possible level.
This photo has been produced from security footage near the home of the journalist, who was killed last month.
On September 5, Gauri Lankesh was stepping out of her car outside her home in Bengaluru around 8 pm to open the gates, when seven shots were fired at her at close range. Three bullets hit her and instantly killed her.
Over the past month, rallies and protest marches have been held in an expression of shock and anger at the brazen killing of the 55-year-old editor renowned for speaking her mind.
