Bengaluru: The Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) in the murder case of journalist Gauri Lankesh filed a witness list before a Bengaluru City Civil and Sessions Court on Saturday June 4.
In response, the attorneys representing the defendants requested a list of electronic evidence that is part of the investigation. The hearing has been adjourned until June 6 to give time for any objections to the plea to be filed. The trial will take place from July 4 to 8 and also for a week every month.
Lankesh was killed outside her home in Rajarajeshwari Nagar in the city on September 5, 2017.
