Govt approves 87 industrial projects worth over Rs 4,236

Bengaluru: The State Government has approved 87 industrial projects worth Rs 4,236.26 crore, which will create jobs for around 12,251 people in the State, said Industries Department.

The projects have been cleared during the 128th State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC), which was chaired by Large and Medium Scale Industries Minister Murugesh R. Nirani on Thursday January 6.

The committee reviewed and approved 13 major large and medium- size industrial projects. These projects, costing a total of Rs. 2,986.80 crore, are estimated to employ 4,660 people in the State.

74 new projects worth more than Rs. 15 crore and less than Rs. 50 crore have also been approved during the 128th SLSWCC meeting.
