Bengaluru: A day after Azaan – Suprabatha row erupted across the State including the Capital City, the State Government has decided to announce a new policy on the use of loudspeakers.
“A new circular based on the Supreme Court judgement will be issued in a day or two,” explained sources in the State Government.
As per the plan, the Government wants to fix the maximum decibels for all the loudspeakers. Irrespective of the events, and institutions, the Government is likely to announce a new uniform policy in this regard.
Meanwhile, Shri Ram Sene President Pramod Muthalik claimed success on day two. “In all the districts across the State including Bengaluru we are able to launch Suprabhata drive against Azaan,” he said.
