Hanagal defeat shared responsibility: Yediyurappa

Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa said that the defeat in Hanagal is the responsibility that needs be shared by all the leaders in the party.

Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday November 3 he said that every leader toiled for bypolls and hence defeat or victory should be shared equally too. The defeat cannot be and should not be pinned Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, he asserted.

Further, Yediyurappa warned Congress not to rest on the laurels in Hanagal as it no indicator for upcoming by-elections in 2023. Let there be no doubt that BJP will retain its power in the State, he added.

Yediyurappa also informed that he will soon tour the State in next 15 days as a exercise to strengthen the party.
