Bengaluru: Around 500 Congress activists from various parts of Hassan district met former CM Siddaramaiah in the city and lodged a complaint against the style of functioning of the PWD minister and JDS strongman HD Revanna.
In their complaint to Siddaramaiah, the activists have alleged that the minister is neglecting Congress strongholds in the district while implementing developmental works.
“The Panchayat Development Officers (PDOs) have been directed not to process the applications submitted by the Congress party members and the supporters. Those PDOs who are close to the Congress members are being transferred,” they alleged adding that top Congress leaders, including DK Shivakumar have refused to intervene in the issue.
Later, the members met KPCC President Dinesh Gundurao and urged him to intervene and he assured to talk it out to CM HDK and PWD minister HD Revanna.
Reacting to the allegations, PWD minister HD Revanna informed that he is not targetting any one. “All the allegations are false and fabricated,” he said.
