Bengaluru: Former PM HD Deve Gowda and former CM Siddaramaiah shared the stage after 12 years ago, on Saturday, October 20.
The two held a joint press conference in Bengaluru and evidently, the two seemed to have put their past behind.
Siddaramaiah was ousted from JDS following his differences with JDS supremo in 2006 and since then the two have had hurled enough barbs at each other. However, with the JDS and the Congress entering an alliance at the state and with speculations that the hostile equation with the two may topple the government, the two buried the hatchet and have come together on a platform, which both surprisingly used to shower praises on each other.
While Siddaramaiah praises the political knowledge of Devegowda, the senior leader returned the praise by saying that nobody can create a rift between the two.
Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, who was present at the historic press meet called HDD and Siddaramaiah as two bodies with same heart and soul!
