Bengaluru: Political statements from state leaders are getting more vicious as the assembly by-polls inch closer. Testifying to this, BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje has taken a jibe at former Chief Ministers H D Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaiah.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, November 28, she mocked both the leaders and said, “HDK and Siddaramaiah are like those snakes in the basket without teeth. They only hiss but cannot do any harm to anyone. They hiss because the BJP is in power and not the Congress or JD(S) parties.”
“We want all the 15 candidates to win the upcoming by-polls. But we are confident that atleast seven of them will definitely win and that the BJP government will continue its tenure in the state”, she added.
