Bengaluru: Health services are expected to get disrupted from today across the state as Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) numbering over 30,000 will launch an indefinite protest.
ASHA workers are demanding Rs 12,000 salary and improved working conditions.
In the state’s fight against Covid-19, ASHA workers are considered as the frontline warriors. They are demanding fulfillment of their various demands, which are not considered by the government for last several years.
