Bengaluru: A verbal war has broken out between Union Skill Development Minister Ananth Kumar Hegade and KPCC Chief Dinesh Gundu Rao on Twitter.
Hegade, on Sunday, had said that the hands of any individual touching Hindu girls with evil intentions must be chopped off.
Responding to this, Rao questioned the contributions of Hegade to the state and also his achievements as a minister.
Irked by the same, Hegade responded saying that the state Congress Chief’s only achievement is that he fell behind a Muslim girl, a clear reference to Dinesh Gundu Rao’s wife Tabu Rao, a Muslim.

This is not the first time that Tabu Rao has been dragged into a political slug fest. In the past, MPs Shobha Karandalaje and Prathap Simha too had made reference to Tabu Rao to take on her husband Dinesh Gundu Rao and Tabu Rao, who stays away from political limelight had issued a statement to make sure that she is not dragged to settle political scores with her husband.
