Bengaluru: Bitcoin scam likely to shadow the State politics for next few weeks with the Union government taking up the investigation especially the hacking of the servers.
According to the sources, a team from the Union Home Ministry besides Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax (I-T) launched separate investigations into this scam which is estimated Rs.10,000 crores scam.
Sources confirmed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a green signal to the investigation and taken impartial probe against the issue.
Meanwhile, Congress leaders are optimistic that the investigation expected to affect the image of the State government before the all crucial 2023 State Assembly election.
Meanwhile, CM Basavaraja Bommai informed that an impartial investigation will be carried out into this scam. He alleged that opposition leaders are involved in this scam.
