Homemaker found murdered in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 29-year-old housewife was found murdered at her residence in Kabbehall near Kamakshipalya in Bengaluru west on Tuesday.

The police have identified the victim as Taslima Banu. She married to Abdul Razzaq with two children, was found murdered with her throat slit.

“The murder came to light when her elder son returned home at around 3.30 pm,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) M N Anucheth said.

The police suspect the murder took place between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm.

“We are checking the CCTV footage in the surrounding area,’’ the DCP said.

The police said, as per local residents’ version, a person had come to the area at around 11 am asking for the victim’s address and proceeded towards her residence.

“There is no forced entry into the house. All the valuable things on the victim are intact. We are verifying whether any valuables from the house are missing,’’ the officer said.

The police are questioning the victim’s husband Razzaq.
