Bengaluru: A leading Kannada media has reported that the honey trap gang has trapped two coastal MLAs.
According to the media reports, six leaders are honey trapped and extorted and out of the six, two are from coastal districts of Karnataka. The report states that leaders from various parties have been honey-trapped, besides businessmen and officials. “Only one MLA lodged a complaint in this regard,” said a journalist who is following the developments closely.
Special Investigation Team: According to highly placed sources, the state government is considering the proposal of setting up of an SIT to investigate the case. “It is a big racket. So an SIT investigation is required,” said sources in the home department.
