Bengaluru: As the high voltage Karnataka by-polls counting of 15 assembly seats are underway, Congress leader D K Shivakumar has wished ‘success’ to the BJP.
Reacting and taunting to the statement of Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwath Narayan that the BJP will have a clean sweep in Ramanagar constituency, DKShi said: “The DCM is in a full swing. He is very enthusiastic. I’m happy if he could manage to sweep, because former prime minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda, senior Congress leader P G R Sindhya, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and many other leaders have won from this constituency. I wish him all the success.”
“BSY had said that he would give ministerial berth to all the 15 disqualified MLAs of Congress and JD(S). He has given ticket to those who backstabbed us. I have no issues. BSY has shown the confidence in winning 13 out of 15 assembly seats. But I wish him luck too. Let the BJP sweep all the seats”, he added.
