According to Jaggesh, in the 10,000-liter capacity tank of the house, only rain water is being stored. “Adding to this, we connected the terrace water to the borewell pipeline. So, the rain water directly enters the borewell pipe after a filtering process. Now we hardly depend on the Cauvery water,” he said.

Parimala Jaggesh informed that the family uses RO filtered water to wash their car. “We use less than half a bucket for water to wash the car. Our idea is to ensure that less water is used and more water is conserved,” she said.
