Bengaluru: JDS legislative party leader, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy suspended MLC Puttanna from the party for a period of six years.
Puttanna who represents the teachers’ constituency was the deputy chairman of the state legislative council till recently.
Puttanna, who was once considered as the close associate of HDK had fallen out recently. He was considered as the first rebel leader of the party.
A native of Channapatna in Ramanagara district, Puttanna is likely to join the BJP and contest in the election
