Bengaluru: This is the first Kannada Rajyotsava after Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot assumed power at Raj Bhavan. Gehlot will extend his wishes in Kannada, which he has been learning since October 22.
His Kannada teacher is Jnanamurthy.
According to sources, on October 20, he has sent a speed post to Raj Bhavan, requesting to impart Kannada lessons. On October 21, Jnanamurthy received a call inviting him to see Governor on October 22. He has been attending sessions for 15 to 30 minutes everyday.
