Bengaluru: The Kannada Sahitya Parishath, Chamarajpet Legislative Assembly unit, is holding its third annual Kannada literary conference on Saturday at Akhila Karnataka Makkalakoota, Pampa Mahakavi Road, Chamarajpet.
Historian Suresh Moona has been chosen as the president of the conference. The meet will begin at 7.30 am with flag hoisting by the president of the KSP, Chamarajpet unit Mayanna followed by a procession of the conference president, Moona, with a folk band on the main roads of Chamarajpet.
While Mayor R. Sampathraj will inaugurate the conference, Chamarajpet MLA Zamir Ahmed will preside over the event.
KSP State president Manu Baligar will release a souvenir. A talk on ‘Unity in literature’ will be delivered by Mahamad Khasim.
As a special feature, a science meet for children will also be held.
