Bengaluru: India Today has adjudged Karnataka as the Most Improved Big State in the Category of Economy, according to its Group Editorial Director Raj Chengappa.
According to a Communication received here on Wednesday, the State of the States study carried out by the India Today Group reveals what the States offer to its citizens the best opportunities, both at work and outside.
The Study, which has tracked each State’s performance over a period of time and recorded the changes in the last one year, has taken into account both the business environment and the quality of life of the people. The parameters on which the States are judged include agriculture, economy, education, healthcare, inclusive development, infrastructure, law and order besides, e-governance, entrepreneurship, and environment.
The objectivity and scope have made this study the gold standard for the health of Indian States, he added.
Raj Chengappa has extended an invitation to the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to accept the award, on November 4 at the India Today State of the States’ Conclave scheduled to be held at Hotel Grand in New Delhi, on behalf of the State.
