Karnataka: IMD predicts heavy rainfall in 13 districts on Oct 30, 31

Bengaluru: Even though the South West Monsoon has withdrawn from the State, there is no reprieve from the unseasonal rainfall. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rainfall alert for 13 districts on October 30 and 31.

Heavy rainfall warning has been issued for to the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru, Mysuru and other districts of the Coastal, Malnad and South Karnataka.

According to the IMD sources, there may not be heavy rainfall till October 30 in this region.

Meanwhile in Bengaluru City’s senior officials visited the rain affected areas to find out the impact of recent rains and to plan taking up of the repair works, especially filling up of potholes.
