Bengaluru: Hours after issuing the controversial order banning photography and videography inside the government offices, the State Government budged to the pressure from the public and withdrew the order late on the night of Friday July 15.

This has been hailed as a massive victory for public opinion.

Earlier, based on the request made by the State Government Employees Association, the government banned photography and videography inside the government offices.

However, the public used social media effectively to counter the government’s decision forcing it to change its stand through a midnight order.
