Most of the drones are deployed in the border districts of Andra Pradesh where illegal sand mining is on full swing.

It would be inducted in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru and other districts.

The cost of each drone is Rs 1.2 lakh and they are imported from South Korea.
