Bengaluru: On Friday November 5, Karnataka recorded 214 new Covid-19 cases and seven deaths, bringing the total number of cases and deaths to 29,89,489 and 38,102, respectively.
It also stated that 286 people have been discharged, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 29,43,170. According to a health department bulletin, the number of active cases was 8,188.
With 118 new infections and one death, Bengaluru Urban remained the City with the highest number of Covid cases.
According to the bulletin, 11 districts reported no infections and fatalities.
The day’s positive rate was 0.26 per cent, while the case fatality rate was 3.27 per cent.
According to the sources, a total of 80,145 samples were tested including 63,295 RT-PCR tests, taking the cumulative number of specimens examined to 5.12 crore.
