Bengaluru: The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB), which is struggling to find takers for its flats across the state has decided to offer 2% discount for the buyers. A decision in this regard was announced by the newly inducted housing minister MTB Nagaraj.
Speaking to the reporters, Nagaraj informed that the flats constructed by the KHB are lying vacant in various parts of Bengaluru and other cities. “To attract buyers we have decided to offer 2% discount,” he said.
He also announced that in the next 20 years, the housing department wants to build 20 lakh houses for the needy. “In this year alone 2.15 lakh new houses have been built,” he said.
