Bengaluru: Kempegowda International Airport in tne City has secured highest growth in financial year 2022. The growth in cargo volumes and passenger traffic has gone up by 49.2 per cent with a 50 per cent recovery in comparison to financial year 2020.
Top International markets for cargo are the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States, according to KIA. Also Bengaluru airport is the number one airport in the country for handling perishables, according to KIA.
The airport has also seen the highest ever domestic connectivity from 54 and 76 destinations, respectively in the financial years 2021 and 2022.
