Kodagu: As many as 40 MBBS students of the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences have been found Covid – 19 positive. Following the findings, the institute cancelled offline classes and started online classes for the students.
According to the students, mass testing started after a few students complained moderate fever. In all 750 students of the institute were tested and among them 40 tested positive.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the district touched 90.
The officials informed that people need not bother as the majority of people are already fully vaccinated.
