Kolar: The Party High Command will decide on Siddaramaiah’s candidature from Kolar Assembly constituency and I’m not the All India Congress Committee President to decide on his candidature, said MLA K. R. Ramesh Kumar.
Speaking to mediapersons on the issue of Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah contesting from Kolar, he said, “I am not the AICC President to decide on siddaramaiah’s candidature and it will be decided by the High Command.”
Referring to the appeal of Former CM H. D. Kumaraswamy’s fans to contest from Kolar, he said anyone who has crossed the age of 25 years can contest and to contest in the election thier mental stability should be right. In a veiled attack on Kumaraswamy, he said that those who have not been absolved of criminal charges should not contest.
He also said that “there is no difference of opinion between K. H. Muniyappa and me now. I am here now and he is somewhere else. in the coming days when it is right time, and occasion demands, the two of us will be seen together,” he said
