Kolar: A Dalit youth died by suicide after he was assaulted for overtaking the bike of youth from upper caste. The incident has been reported from Bevahalli Village of the District.
According to the Police FIR, Uday Kiran (25), is the youth who resorted to suicide. According to his family members, he was assaulted by tying to a tree for overtaking the bikes of upper caste youth. His mobile was also taken away.
Nangali Police has registered a FIR. Accused are absconding.
Senior police officers rushed to the spot.
