Kolar: Congress Veteran K. H. Muniyappa, a Former MP from Kolar and Union Minister is planning to quit the party and join JD (S).
He reportedly held talks with JD (S) Supremo and Former Prime Minister H. D. Devegowda in this regard.
JD (S) had recently had a setback in the Kolar District as party leader, M. L. Shrinivasa Gowda quit the party and joined Congress.
Muniyappa is upset with Congress over inducting of his archrival into the party.
However, Muniyappa denied any such plans. But his supporter made it clear that he is in touch with Devegowda and his son Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy.
