Kolar: With land grabbers eyeing Government lands, the public has alleged that the Revenue Department is indirectly cooperating without putting a stop to the illegal construction of layouts wth land mafia in the vicinity encroaching lands wherever there are government grazing lands.

D. K. Halli Gram Panchayat limits in the Taluk are witnessing the encroachment of Government land.

The Revenue Department shows on its website online that the Government land at Survey No. 58 has an area of 11.09 acres of land. However, this measure of land disappeared overnight.

Survey No. 58 of the 11.09 acres of land is now empty. All that remains in the land is a huge canal. There have also been encroachments in some areas and houses have been constructed by making illegal layouts and constructing e-property in the Gram Panchayat.

In relation to Plantation belonging to D. K. Halli Gram Panchayat and H. P Nagara and other Towns in the Taluk, the land mafia illegally created fake documents dating back to the 1950s and encroached upon them with the connivance of Revenue Department and Gram Panchayat Officials, it is alleged.
