KSRTC adds 1000 buses to control Diwali rush in K’taka

Bengaluru: KSRTC has added 1,000 additional buses for both inter-state and intra-state travellers in order to control the Diwali rush. For the convenience of the public, additional bus services began on October 29 and will run till November 7.

According to a KSRTC press release, buses would run from Bengaluru to Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mysuru, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Davangere, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi, and other destinations.

Buses will operate in inter-state routes such as Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, and others places.

According to the press release, the ticket fare remains same, and travellers can make reservations online at ksrtc.karnataka.gov.in or at reservation counters.
