Bengaluru: In the year 2011, the KSRTC shifted all its Mysuru bound operations including buses to Madikeri, Mandya, Mangaluru, Udupi, Sullia, etc., which ply on Mysuru-Madikeri road from Majestic bus terminus to Mysuru Road Satellite bus terminus. The idea behind this shifting was decongesting the busy Mysuru Road of the city.
But now with the idea of ensuring that the Mysuru bound passengers will not have to face any difficulties to catch buses and travel all the way till the Mysuru Road satellite bus stand, the KSRTC has decided to relocate the bus services to the Majestic. This means all the buses towards Mysuru, Mangaluru, Puttur, Sullia etc will start from the Majestic bus terminus.
“This new system will come into effect from December 1. The benefit of this new system is that passengers who arrive in Metro need not travel all the way to Satellite bus stand. Instead, they can catch the Mysuru, Mangaluru, Sullia, Madikeri, Puttur buses from Majestic itself,” explained an officer from the KSRTC.
