Bengaluru: Amid the political slugfest, the State Government launched several Administrative reforms. As part of this reform drive, the government has merged the Public Enterprises Department with the Finance Department.
The staff and officials of the department will be sent to the Finance Department.
This decision was taken with the merger, and disinvestment of various government companies or factories in the State.
According to sources, the state government is also planning several other reforms which expected to be implemented in a phased manner.
