This center has been set up by the state’s Information Department and will work round the clock.

According to the authorities, the general public can lodge a complaint against any TV content broadcasted in the state to this center. Besides receiving complaints from viewers, the center itself will observe the content.

The authorities also said that committees have been set up in all the districts under the chairmanship of the respective Deputy Commissioners for the TV content to be monitored locally.

The decision has been taken as per the directions of the Karnataka High Court.

The general public can reach out to the cell by calling 080-22028013 or whatsapp 9480841212
