Bengaluru: The State Government has announced the setting up of goshalas in all the A and B grade temples ran by Muzrai Department.
An announcement in this regard was made by Endowment Department Minister Shashikala Jolle.
She was speaking after performing gopuja at the Kapileshwara Mandir in Belagavi District. “There are over 250 A and B grade temples in the State. The idea is protecting the cows from getting slaughtered,” she said.
On the evening of Friday November 5, gopuja was performed in over 25,000 temples across the State.
