Bengaluru: The JD (S), which has been accused of seeking to win 30-40 seats in the next Assembly election to become kingmaker, has now purchased 123 vehicles to launch a campaign in 123 constituencies where the party has a chance in the 2023 State Assembly election.
These vehicles are equipped with LED screens. They were handed over to the former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy by a TATA company dealer.
These 123 vehicles will be stationed mostly in the constituencies of the old Mysuru region to launch a campaign earlier for the next Assembly election.
According to JD (S) leaders, the idea is to take the achievements of previous JD (S) governments to the people’s doorstep. On Thursday May 19, these vehicles will be dispatched to their respective constituencies.
