Bengaluru: On Sunday October 17, Karnataka reported 236 new Covid-19 cases.
According to a State Health department bulletin, there are 9,450 current cases in the State. Bengaluru urban’s single-day tally stood at 173.
Four deaths were reported in the State on the same day. With one death in Bengaluru urban, the State’s death toll has risen to 37,941.
380 people got discharged from hospital, bringing the overall number of discharges to 29,36,039.
The case fatality rate for the day is 1.22 per cent, with a positivity rate of 0.41 per cent for the day.
