Bengaluru: It seems there is no end to the examination scams in the State. After PSI and Assistant professors’ examination scams, now the State Education Department is hit by the SSLC examination scam.

The Ramanagara police detained 10 persons in connection with the SSLC examination scam. Interestingly, the police are also quizzing a journalist in this scam.

The police are suspecting that the epicentre of this scam is Magadi Taluk of the district.

They also suspect that a few schools are also part of this scam as the children were allowed to write the ready-made answers.

Now, questions are raised on what the Education Department was doing when this scam broke out.

According to sources, this incident came to light the following blackmail by a group as an accused by mistake shared the leaked question papers in a group. It has been alleged that a journalist who come across this also blackmailed the accused.

A person alerted the Magadi police about this scam through a letter. Later, the Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) also approached the police.

The police inquiry is expected to throw more light on this scam.
