Bengaluru: The State Government received Rs. 4,550 crores compensation from the Central Government.
The amount was released on the night of Thursday October 7.
This amount come as a big relief to the Karnataka Government which is facing a financial crisis due to the Covid 19 and rain furry in over 18 districts.
The State Government has been repeatedly urging the Central Government to release the State’s share in GST compensation citing the revenue loss due to the GST.
