K’taka registers 5 more Omicron cases

Bengaluru: The State on Thursday December 16 has recorded five more cases of Omicron variant of Coronavirus.

Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar said that out of them, three have foreign travel history namely UK, Nigeria and South Africa, and the other two are Delhi returnees. The UK returned is a 19-year-old male, while Nigerian returnee is a 52-year-old male. Further, the South African returnee is a 33-year-old male while Delhi returnees are 36-year-old-male, and 70-year-old female.

These new cases have taken the total Omicron cases in the State to eight.
